Founded in Indiana, Inspired by a Family Vacation
Micarri Group began with a simple moment on a family trip to Daytona Beach. While waiting for a table at a local restaurant, we noticed every guest stopped to read the daily specials board near the entrance. One group after another — all eyes on the same spot.
Later, while watching The Bear and seeing a restaurant struggle to gain recognition just to survive, the idea fully came together. Most local restaurants, cafés, hotels, and retail shops will never win awards — even when they’re doing an exceptional job. Why not create something that both recognizes great local venues and gives nearby businesses a trusted, affordable way to connect with the community?
That’s how the Neighborhood Spotlight was born.
Each featured host is hand-selected for doing things the right way — and there is never any cost, now or later, to participate. We simply provide a custom display board featuring the host’s logo and space for daily specials, along with a few curated local business spotlights that help cover the cost of production.
It’s our way of helping strong communities grow stronger — by spotlighting those who deserve recognition, and supporting the businesses that keep neighborhoods thriving.
